Tony Joe White - best known for writing “Polk Salad Annie” and “Rainy Night in Georgia” - in a one-night-only performance at the historic Franklin Theatre. His touring credits include Creedence Clearwater Revival, Eric Clapton and James Taylor. His songs have been recorded by Elvis, Ray Charles, Tina Turner, Kenny Chesney, Etta James, Dusty Springfield and Bruce Springfield to name a few. Revered as one of the originators of swamp rock, Tony Joe has recorded 30 records and topped the United Kingdom country charts with his 2013 studio album, “Hoodoo.”
