Michael W. Smith, a beloved Franklin neighbor, has shaped the Christian music landscape and sold more than 15 million albums, scored 28 No. 1 hits, earned 3 Grammys and more than 40 Dove Awards…including 2015 “Christmas Album of the Year” honors for his Spirit of Christmas project. He’s contributing his talents and sure to capture hearts and the nostalgia of the season in celebration with friends.
The evening promises to one that’s remembered for years to come!
Joining Michael with songs and stories will be the remarkable soprano vocalist and recording artist Ilonka, renown singer/songwriters Jill Phillips and Andy Gullahorn, author/speaker Al Andrews and the youth string ensemble Music City Strings.
This special night is also a fundraising event for the Franklin Theatre and your presence is an investment in our mission to create experiences that inspire, enrich and connect our patrons, performers and communities.
Since reopening in 2011, we’ve touched more than 300,000 patrons with world class live music, movies, educational offerings and community events and also helped raise more than $2.5 million for area charities.
Like most historic theaters, we continue to need your support to bring our programming to life each day and care for the facilities that make it possible.
