Mac Davis is an actor, singer and songwriter who has achieved international renown throughout his illustrious career. From his artist career with songs including" I Believe in Music," "Baby Don't Get Hooked on Me," "Texas in my Rearview Mirror," and "Stop and Smell the Roses," to his songwriting career with hits for Elvis Presley such as "Memories,' "In the Ghetto," and "A Little Less Conversation," and Bobby Goldsboro's "Watchin' Scotty Grow," Mac Davis's music is part of the American musical soundtrack.

In the 1970s Mac hosted the wildly popular Mac Davis show on NBC and was featured in the sitcom "Rodney". He has starred in movies including "North Dallas Forty," "The Sting II," and "Possums." He also starred as Will Rogers in the "Will Rogers Follies" on Broadway.

Mac will bring his one-man show, his music and unique sense of humor to the Franklin Theatre on October 12th and 13th in what promises to be one of the most entertaining nights in memory.
