Description

These performances are postponed; we are continuing to work with the artists and their representatives to reschedule. All previously purchased tickets will automatically transfer to the new dates once they are determined.
We thank you for your continued support and patronage of the Franklin Theatre and remain committed to bringing you the best entertainment experience, while also seeing to the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, artists, and visitors during the coronavirus pandemic.
Best known for his role as Deacon Claybourne in the global hit show Nashville, singer/songwriter and actor Charles Esten has performed hundreds of live concerts, including multiple performances at CMA Fest, The Grand Ole Opry (where he recently performed his 130th performance), The Bluebird Café, London’s O2 Arena, Stagecoach, and Australia’s CMC. In October he was thrilled to headline at the Royal Albert Hall, closing out a UK tour during Country Music Week. In March, he will return to Europe to perform in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Glasgow, and Dublin as one of the main stage acts at Europe’s biggest country music festival: Country To Country 2020.

This past fall, he released a new single co-written with J.T. Harding, and produced with Bobby Hamrick. “A Road and a Radio” is a rocking country ode to the open road and the music that has long been its soundtrack.  It’s currently getting radio play in the UK and has already logged over 400,000 streams on Spotify.  He continues to write and record his own music with over 8 million streams to date, earning a Guinness World Record for releasing 54 original songs (available on iTunes, and on Spotify) once a week, for 54 consecutive weeks.
