ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The mission of the Franklin International Indie Film Festival (FIIFF) is to celebrate independent film, discover new creative forces in the industry, and promote Middle Tennessee as an outstanding location for award winning projects to thrive.

On behalf of Williamson County Cultural Arts Commission, the greater Williamson County and Nashville film community, Tennessee Entertainment Commission, our sponsors, staff and volunteers, welcome to the 2019 FIIFF. For our community of filmmakers, film-workers, TV producers and Animators, we bring together collaborators as well as many industry influencers. With talk-back opportunities and meet ups with the filmmakers, you can understand the perspective and process of each. Our panels and workshops provide useable information and honest answers to help creatives move forward on their journey.
Our film entries incorporate stories based on universal challenges such as relationships, the family, the environment, diversity, and how we live in our worlds today...humanity is recognized and celebrated at FIIFF.

As many know, Franklin is a place where Celebrities & Music Stars often collide with a friendly local crowd.
Screenwriters and celebrities alike will enjoy the ambiance, fraternity, and social experience that comes with a visit to Tennessee. Our state is number seven in the USA for film, television & new media industry jobs. Whether you are attending the festival because your project is screening, you are a film aficionado or planning your next film, FIIFF 2019 will introduce filmmakers, film workers and guests, to a place where anything is possible. Our landscape, highly motivated staff and volunteers are ready for you; and our we are excited to welcome each of you personally.
