A non-profit organization, serving middle Tennessee with 50 years of music performance, The Establishment Big Band generates scholarships for musically talented students to receive individualized instruction at Blair School of Music and at the W.O. Smith Nashville Community Music School. Though the band works only for the love of music and the support of a new generation of musicians, it is in no sense an amateur group. Devotion and skill are the trademark of The Establishment, a musical organization that represents professionalism at its best, bringing world class jazz to middle Tennessee and beyond.
The Establishment will be featuring their vocalist Jaimee Paul in presenting the iconic album " Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie: On The Sunny Side of The Street" live in concert at the Franklin Theatre. The legendary album featured the vocal prowess of Ella Fitzgerald, now very passionately performed for you by Jaimee Paul, one of Nashville's preeminent and in demand studio and live vocalists, who has toured with Wynona Judd, Kelly Clarkson and others performing for audiences all over the world and recorded many albums under of her own. The Establishment Big Band will also be featuring many world class soloists and swinging ensemble sections as they present the arrangements of the great Quincy Jones for you. We are proud to present this legendary concert for you at the fabulous Franklin Theatre.
