Description

Join two old friends as they go over their musical lives that have touched so many. John McEuen, who, with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (banjo, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and lap steel)- is a founding member-50 years there! His music was influenced by early mentoring from Rodney Dillard. John saw The Dillards when they first played L.A. (Orange County’s Paradox -1963!) and says proudly that “without Rodney, there would not have been a ‘Circle be Unbroken’ album!”

With footage of early NGDB, the Will the Circle Be Unbroken recording and the historic 1977 NGDB Russian trip photos behind John and Rodney running as they perform in front of it, come hear about those “L.A. ‘60’s and ‘70’s daze”. Find out how these two icons plied their wares on the world… and it worked!

Joining John and Rodney will be Justin David (guitar/fiddle), Mike Bub (bass), Danny Knicely (guitar, mandolin) and Becky Buller (fiddle)
