Dom Flemons, known as “The American Songster®,” is a GRAMMY Award-winning musician whose repertoire spans more than a century of American roots music.

A co-founder and original member of the groundbreaking Carolina Chocolate Drops, the first Black string band to win a GRAMMY, Flemons is celebrated for his work as a folk and Black country artist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, historian, and cultural storyteller.

Over a 25-year career, he has received major awards, earned worldwide recognition, and become one of the most influential voices in American roots music.
