Support the all-volunteer Williamson County Community Band as they kick off their 13th season in grand style with a special evening fundraiser concert featuring “5 Points Swing." Five Points Swing will start the evening’s entertainment with a selection of Big Band numbers.The new 20-piece swing band is making a name for itself in local venues and will be taking the audience on a ‘sentimental journey’ into the Big Band era.

Following 5 Points Swing, the entire community band will perform a program of crowd-pleasing numbers under the direction of Ken Krause. The community band, formed in 2001, has grown under Krause’s leadership from a group of 11 to over 60 members and performs a series of annual free concerts around Williamson County.

The band and 5 Points Swing are sponsored by the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department. Proceeds from this concert will go toward the band’s annual expenses. This event is sponsored by McArthur Sanders Real Estate.
